OKC Thunder Schedule Released: Anthony Davis Versus Kevin Durant Early ... - SB Nation

The official 2012-13 NBA schedule has been released, and the Oklahoma City Thunder will find themselves profiled 30 times on national television when all is said and done. The team is a highlight reel waiting to happen, which is why the team is likely going to be a major draw no matter where they go and play.

Kevin Arnovitz says that Anthony Davis' arrival into the league after being the first overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft is a major reason to watch on its own, but his first game is against one of the premiere teams in the league and should make it one of the top games on the calendar.

"Davis projects as one of the best defensive players of his generation," writes Arnovitz. "A home date against an offensive juggernaut like the Thunder will be Davis' first graduate-level exam in the defensive arts. We'll be waiting for that first switch when Davis -- as sound a perimeter defender as big men come -- finds himself face-to-face with Kevin Durant."

The game in question will be played on November 16.
