The Western Conference champion Oklahoma City Thunder and Eastern Conference finalists Boston Celtics matched up in Orlando for some Summer League action and the Cs came out on top, 73-65 in this one.
A few big names from last year's NCAA basketball season were on display, such as the Thunder's Perry Jones III and Jared Sullinger for Boston. The first half was interesting because both teams had a quarter of dominance. Boston came out swinging and OKC could only do so much. The Celtics outscored the Thunder 25-10 in the first quarter, before OKC made a rally of its own, outscoring Boston 24-11 in the second quarter.
Sullinger actually came off the bench to lead Boston, and all scorers for that matter, with 20 points. E'Twaun Moore added 16 points and Dionte Christmas chipped in 10 points for the Cs.
Reggie Jackson led the Thunder with 19 points, while Lazar Hayward and Jones added 18 and 16 points, respectively.
