Unrestricted free agent Nazr Mohammed is leaving the Oklahoma City Thunder, and last week he was expected to sign with the Brooklyn Nets as he met with the team the past few days, but a turn in the events has Momammed reportedly agreeing to a contract with the Chicago Bulls. With this move it means that the Bulls are more than likely not going to match the Houston Rocket offer sheet to Omar Asik.
Mohammed spent the last season and a half with the Oklahoma City Thunder, and this past year he averaged 2.7 points and 2.7 rebounds over 63 games while averaging 11 minutes per contest.
Mohammed is a 14-year veteran and has played for seven NBA teams during that time, and by making the Bulls his eighth team he will be heading back to his hometown of Chicago.
