The NBA Finals have been nothing but spectacular thus far. In Game 3, the Miami Heat found a way to win and take a 2-1 series lead. The Heat now will prepare themselves for what will likely be two more decisive games in Miami.Game 3 was a little different than the first two. The Oklahoma City Thunder did not particularly struggle early on as they did in the beginning on the series. Regardless, Kevin Durant got into foul trouble and the Thunder lost the game.
The Thunder's defense has been somewhat suspect in this series. At first, they struggled to guard the 3-point shot. Last night they left Chris Bosh wide open for easy dunks and layups near the basket.Game 4 is a make or break game for the Thunder. There is a reason that the no team in NBA history has come back to win the Finals after going down 3-1. If they win, the series is tied and it turns into a best-of-three series.For Miami to win this game they must do several things. LeBron James needs to continue to be physical and try to get Durant in foul trouble. They need Bosh to play well and make an impact on defense, and they need Dwyane Wade to play like the star that he is. If the Heat can do that and get a little help from their bench, they will be one win away from a championship.For Oklahoma City to win this game they must make several adjustments. They need to keep Durant out of foul trouble to start. They need Russell Westbrook and James Harden to have big games and outscore the Heat's big three. If they can do that it will be a tied series.Game 4 is scheduled for Tuesday at 9 pm. It will be the deciding game in the series in my opinion. The team that can find a way to pull it off will go on to win the NBA championship.
