Just a few months after tearing his A.C.L. and losing the end of his college football season Ryan Broyles ran two forty yard dashes for scouts today. Broyles was timed in the mid to high 4.5 range. Broyles does not possess terrific size, but is a fearless WR over the middle and catches everything thrown his way. Reminiscent in many parts of his game of the Steve Smith who played for the New York Giants prior to his injury. A smart player who should be a terrific outlet valve for a QB, or a productive third round option. Being able to run in that range already likely means that Broyles will be drafted in the third to early fourth round in the 2012 N.F.L. draft and could produce in the N.F.L. in 2012.
