Dirk Nowitzki and the Mavs ousted the Thunder in five games in the 2011 Western Conference finals, and now on Saturday, Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder can begin to extract revenge as the Thunder open up the 2012 NBA Playoffs at home against the Mavericks.
Last year, the Mavericks were slight favorites as the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference, while the Thunder were the No. 4 seed. This year is a different story, however, as the Thunder dominated all season en route to clinching the second seed in the Western Conference, while the Mavericks struggled their way to the No. 7 seed.
James Harden, who was concussed by Ron Artest Metta World Peace last week, has been cleared to play, and is expected to play on Saturday night.
Game Time: Tip-off is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. CT from Oklahoma City.
TV Coverage: Televised coverage can be found nationally on ESPN, and locally on Fox Sports Oklahoma.
