The Texas League All-Star Game was held Thursday night at ONEOK Field, the home of the Tulsa Drillers, and eight Drillers helped the North Division to a 3-1 victory over the South Division.
The North scored all three runs in the bottom of the fourth inning, with Drillers star Nolan Arenado driving in a run with a ground-rule double to right-center field. Oscar Tavares, an outfielder for the Springfield Cardinals, followed Arenado's double with a home run to right field.
Arenado was the only position player to get a hit for the North, but Drillers players Josh Rutledge, Ben Paulsen, and Lars Davis all saw action.
Drillers pitcher Dan Houston got the start for the North, and pitched two scoreless innings. Nick Schmidt, another Tulsa pitcher, got the win, pitching a perfect fourth inning. Tulsa closer Coty Woods got the save.
Tulsa relief pitcher Josh Sullivan did not see action in the game.
