Temeka Johnson blogs: Tulsa Shock remains a work in progress - NOLA.com

Temeka Johnson, Kenner native, Bonnabel and LSU graduate and the point guard for the Tulsa Shock of the WNBA, will be filing reports this season.

Hello everyone,

The WNBA season has started back up, and honestly, it is still rocky. I have wanted to wait to share something good with you all, and then realize that progress is better than nothing at all. Our team is a work in progress and we're really focusing on the upside. We are missing a key player n Elizabeth Cambage, the Australian Olympian. I am awaiting her arrival to see how well we can connect with one another. There's nothing better for a point guard than to have a versatile 6-foot-8 post player. It opens up so much on the floor across the board. I am definitely looking forward to her return. Until then, we keep going. Tonight we play against the Connecticut Sun, in Connecticut and then back home. We are working hard as a group and individually and believe that things can only go up. So I'm excited about that and staying focused on that.

I hope everyone got a chance to go and order "Temeka's Choice" on amazon.com and please let me know what you all think.
