Oklahoma City Thunder fans pack area bars and restaurants for NBA Finals Game ... - kjrh.com

TULSA - The Oklahoma City Thunder knocked off the Miami Heat in Game 1 of the NBA finals Tuesday night in Oklahoma City, but they weren't the only winners.

Several area bars and restaurants hosted watch parties for the game.

2NEWS visited Fassler Hall in downtown Tulsa and and Leon's in Brookside.

Nearly every single seat at both places was filled.

Jordan Wiley, manager at Leon's, tells 2NEWS that it has been a "madhouse" there since the playoffs began.

He expects that excitement to continue in the future.

"The Thunder are so young and talented and they're going to be in the playoffs for the next ten years. All of Tulsa loves having this business. We love it here," he said. "It's going to be great for the next 10 years."

Wiley says if you attend a watch party be sure to arrive early.

Seats fil up nearly two hours before tip off.
