Well now we have the Eastern and Western Conference Finals tied up at 2 games. Â The Thunder and Celtics had to climb back into the series being down 0-2. Â These teams could be #15 and #16 to come back and win a series after that type of deficit. Â But which team will end up doing that? Â My NBA Finals pick is Oklahoma City, so I would have to say, but I can see both sides of the fence on this one.
Boston Celtics
Boston has had two home games and were able to climb right back into this series. Sure, last night’s game, they were a three pointer from being down 3-1, but that shot doesn’t go in by Dwayne Wade, and here we are.  I think that now that I’ve actually sat and watched Rajon Rondo, he’s the one that is bringing the Celtics into the series.  You look at game two, and he puts up 44 points, but loses the game.  That’s a tough loss, and we could almost be talking the Celtics are up 3-1.  Rondo is practically like a quarterback out there more so than a point guard.  But he’s such a great guard out there pointing to where guys need to be and gives the ball in good positions for guys to score easy.  The Celtics will have to continue their defensive intensity, which has helped as well.  I don’t know if the Celtics win this series ultimately, but they will put up a good fight.
Oklahoma City Thunder
What a difference a week makes. I was praising the impressiveness of San Antonio and now they are losing two straight.  OKC took care of the Spurs in game three with their own impressive 20 point win.  Then game four, Kevin Durant says I’ve got this and scores 16 straight points in the fourth quarter to lead the way for the Thunder. It did help that Serge Ibaka put up some points, but that was all Durant in the fourth quarter, when people say it matters the most.  I think the Thunder have to win game 5 and then put this Spurs team away in game 6 at home.  I think with all they’ve been doing, they can do that.  That’s my pick for the team to ultimately come back and win a series after an 0-2 deficit.
