Tulsa Drillers host Texas League All-Star Game Thursday - kjrh.com

TULSA - The 2012 U. S. Cellular Texas League All-Star Game is coming to Tulsa Thursday.

This is the sixth time the game has been played in town and the first time it has been here since 1999.

Brady District businesses are gearing up and getting excited for the big game.

2NEWS stopped by Fat Guys Burger Bar where they are expecting up to 200 more customers than they would normally see on a Thursday.

Fat Guys will be staffed to capacity and ready for the crowd, said General Manager R.C. Cline.

Cline said events like these are especially exciting.

"It's different for us because there will be a lot of people from out of town that we expect," he said. "We hope at least we'll get some new exposure for our restaurant and for downtown Tulsa."

The game starts at 7:05 p.m. at ONEOK Field.

A sellout crowd is expected but there are still some tickets available.

There will also be a fireworks display at the conclusion of the game.
