Temeka Johnson, Kenner native, Bonnabel and LSU graduate and the point guard for the Tulsa Shock of the WNBA, will be filing reports this season.
Hello everyone,
Things have been so crazy for me since I got to Tulsa, but I am taking this moment to update you on it all. I don't like coming to you talking about a loss or in our case at this point five losses, but in each game we were only one or two possessions away from the victory.
We have dropped all of our games - except Saturday night against the Storm - by no more than four or five points. This is something that is great. I know you may be saying how can losing be great? Because every game we have gotten better. Individually, as well as collectively. I have to be happy about that, right?
Now Saturday night the Storm got away from us and took the win. We have been on a 10-day road trip and we are now on our last stint in Phoenix. Looking forward to being back in Tulsa in a few days to be back in my own bed.
It has been a slow start but know that we are truly working hard to get this thing moving in the right direction.
