Much is happening in Tulsa this weekend in terms of festivals. Mayfest and the Blue Dome Arts Festival are ongoing through Sunday and Chalkfest is set for Saturday.Mayfest
Art, live music and children's activities, including the KidZone, are part of Mayfest, on Main Street between Third and Sixth streets in downtown Tulsa.All concerts and art exhibits are free and open to the public. Festival hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Blue Dome Arts Festival
The ninth-annual Blue Dome Arts Festival features local art and music in the Blue Dome District. Hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.More than 200 booths filled with all forms of local art, food vendors and live music will be part of the event. An Art Car Parade will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Chalkfest
From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, the Deco District will open up Boston Avenue from Fourth to Sixth streets for Chalkfest, which lets youths and adults participate in chalk art contests. Watch high school students compete from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., adults from 1 to 5 p.m. and pros from 2 to 6 p.m. Each contestant gets a 10-foot-by-10-foot square to work with. Rocker Chris Daughtry brings his tour to Tulsa's Brady Theater at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Saturday: Armed Forces Day
The Tulsa Praise Orchestra is putting on a big-band musical in honor of Armed Forces Day. The musical, "An American Celebration," is set for 6 p.m. Saturday at the Green Country Event Center, 12000 E. 31st St. Tickets are free but must be reserved online at tulsaworld.com/tulsapraise or by phone at 918-365-1111.Tulsa County will celebrate the day at Chandler Park, 6500 W. 21st St., from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
